Harness the energy of sound

 

Week 1: The Magic of Mantra (Sound Healing) 

Did you know that humming and chanting stimulate the vagus nerve? This nerve is the "off-switch" for stress, taking your body out of fight-or-flight mode. You’ll learn specific mantras that act as the perfect antidote to chronic stress and take home an easy, everyday tool for instant calm.

Release stuck emotions 

 

Week 2: Pranayama (Breath Patterns) 

Change your breath, change your world. We’ll master three sacred breathing techniques -your personal energetic dial -designed to clear the mental fog, soothe your nervous system, and help you shift your frequency in a single heartbeat.

Week 3: Mudra (The Bliss Connection)

Your hands are a roadmap to your subconscious. You’ll learn how specific hand postures act as sacred circuitry for your brain -flipping the internal switches that shift your chemistry from burnout to pure, radiant bliss.

Kirsten Grace

Born and raised in Asbury Park, NJ, Kirsten Grace has been teaching Kundalini Yoga locally and online for 17 years. She especially loves introducing beginners to this wonderful practice that helps women emotionally heal, release stress, and live the peaceful, abundant lives they so deeply desire.

What would I need to bring to the session?

Please bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, a notebook, and a small blanket or cushion to sit on during meditation. Since the body temperature can drop during deep relaxation, layers are a good call

what do I wear? do I have to wear white? 

Wear what makes you feel happy and comfortable! All colors are welcome :) Wear comfortable, stretchy clothing that allows you to move and breathe easily (sweatpants or leggings are perfect).
 

CAN I ASK QUESTIONS THROUGHOUT THE SESSION?

Questions are welcome! I provide a myriad of insights and guidance during the class and frequently invite you to ask any questions. This is about you, for you! 

Do i need to be flexible or in shape?

Not at all. Kundalini is practiced mostly sitting. The "work" is internal—strengthening your nervous system and clearing your mind. We focus on your individual rhythm and breath rather than "perfect" poses. If you can breathe, you can do this!

I have a physical injury/limitation. Can I still participate?

Absolutely. Kundalini is highly adaptable. Most movements can be done in a chair or modified to suit your body’s needs. We honor the body you brought to the mat today -no 'perfect' posture required..

is there support or homework in between each class?

Yes! There will be a private facebook or telegram group where you can ask questions, get my feedback and support one another on your kundalini journey. Kir will also provide a bonus kundalini series you can practice at home in between weeks (100% optional). 

What exactly is 'Kundalini' energy?

Think of it as your creative potential or your 'inner pilot light.' Life can sometimes dim that light through stress and routine. This series is simply about clearing the dust off the bulb so you can shine brighter and feel more like yourself again.

What happens if I have to miss a week? 

Life happens! While we love having the full group energy, you’ll have access to our private [Facebook/Telegram] group where we’ll share highlights and the 'home practice' series, so you can stay in the flow even if you miss a live session!

What if I can’t clear my mind during meditation?

That is exactly why we practice! Kundalini isn't about stopping your thoughts; it’s about using sound (mantra) and breath to give your mind a new 'job.' Most students find that because this practice is so active, the 'quiet' happens naturally without the struggle
